Lokva Rogoznica is located in Dalmatia at the foot of a forest, which practically turns into beaches and the crystal clear Mediterranean Sea.
The village is about 10 kilometers from the next larger town of Omis and is easily accessible.

The village is very agricultural, but mainly farmers who are dependent on fishing, agriculture and viticulture live and live here. The old part of the village is well preserved and is picturesquely situated in the landscape. If you plan a day at the beach and are lucky, you will even find a shady spot under a pine tree.

The "still" unknown vacation spot

Lokva Rogoznica has not long been known as a holiday destination. The place is particularly recommended in August, when the fishing festival takes place. The gastronomy in the village is particularly known for its authenticity. If you want to try local dishes according to old tradition, you should definitely do so in one of the local restaurants. The ingredients are fresh and the dishes are prepared with a lot of love.

Sports

But anyone who thinks that the village in Dalmatia is sleepy and that there is nothing going on is seriously wrong. The range of sports on offer is incredibly extensive. You can go climbing, fishing, sailing, surfing or even jet skiing. Diving, kayaking and paragliding are also offered. The rafting trips that are offered from Omis are particularly popular. The tour through wild waters is popular with tourists and is a welcome cooling off, especially on hot days.

The most beautiful beaches

The many beaches in the area invite young and old to a day at the beach with lots of fun and sun. The little ones can play by the sea, build sandcastles and let off steam, while the adults can relax and rest

The surrounding forests invite you to take a trip and on a hot day there is nothing better than spending a few pleasant hours in the cool shade of the trees and breathing in the fine scent of the pine forests.

Trips to Omis, Split, Trogir or Brac Island

A trip to the Blue Lagoon is also highly recommended. From Omis this means a half-day excursion. A speedboat takes you to the island of Brac. From there, after visiting the city, you drive to the Blue Lagoon, where you can dive and relax in the crystal clear blue water. A day trip to one of Croatia's eight national parks, some of which are spread over one or more islands, is also recommended. The wonderful nature and the beautiful landscape offer relaxation for the whole family.
