Sutivan is located on the island of Brac in Dalmatia on the Adriatic coast.

Tourism on Brac is great and so is the offer. Sutivan itself is not yet very touristy and therefore popular with families and other tourists looking for peace and quiet.

Sutivan has a well-preserved historical town center with parks and lots of green. The stone houses typical of the region are idyllically embedded in the picturesque coastal region on the crystal clear and deep blue shimmering Mediterranean Sea. The port with its fishing boats and small ships complete the picture.

There are pretty taverns, inviting cafes and bars in the harbor, which invite you to linger and let yourself be pampered. Local dishes can be enjoyed there, followed by a nightcap or a stroll in the romantic harbor. There is a wide range of restaurants and pubs not only in the harbor, but along the entire promenade.

Right on the Promenade is the beach of Sutivan. The pebble beach invites you to spend a relaxing day by the sea and to cool off in the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean.

There are numerous other beaches and bathing areas in the area and those who like it quieter can go there.

Natural park on the island of Brac

About two kilometers away is the Sutivan Natural Park. Exotic and native animals can be observed there. A visit to the nature park is definitely a highlight for the children.

A large playground awaits the little guests. There is even the opportunity to play beach volleyball or other sporting activities in the park. The park also has a large network of hiking trails, which offer a welcome change.

Excursion destination town Bol

Another highly recommended excursion destination is the village of Bol, which is also located on the island of Brac. Bol lies at the foot of the Bolska Kruna mountain range, the highest mountain being 778 meters above sea level. From up there you can enjoy a fantastic view of the entire coastal region.

Bol is the oldest town on the island and has some interesting historical buildings from bygone times. This includes, for example, the Dominican monastery, which can be visited and shows the time with interesting exhibitions. The place is known for its golden horn, a headland that protrudes 500 meters into the sea and is covered with a large pine forest. Another well-known attraction is the Dragon's Cave, which was previously used as a church.
