Splitska - more than just stone

Splitska is located on the island of Brac.
The island has an airport that receives international flights. The place Splitska is about six kilometers from the island's capital and belongs to Dalmatia on the east coast of the Adriatic Sea.

The pretty town is not too far away and can easily be explored on a day trip. The place can be easily reached by car and there are even ships that take the place from Split approach. The place is known and loved by tourists. The offer is correspondingly large and almost everyone gets their money's worth. In addition to various sports facilities on water and on land, there is also a generous culinary offer. As the city name suggests, the place has something to do with the city Split to do. The city name Splitska was created because of the white marble of Diocletian's Palace from Split in the quarries of Splitska was broken out. Splitska means «the mother of Split».

Turquoise blue and crystal clear water

The place is located in a picturesque bay directly on the turquoise blue and crystal clear sea. If you like diving or snorkeling, you will definitely get your money's worth here and the underwater world is unique and beautiful. Those who prefer to move on the water instead of under the water can book one of the numerous boat trips that are offered in the region and spend a wonderful day on the water. Depending on what is on offer, the boat will dock on the various islands in the sea, where you can disembark and explore them. But excursions out to sea are also popular and offer a relaxing day.

Cooling forests reach up to Splitska approach

Some of the forests run down to the coast and if you are lucky you will find a shady spot under one of the large trees on a hot day. The hills that extend from the coast offer fantastic views over the region and out to the Mediterranean Sea. Some of them can be easily reached by car. The surrounding forests and mountains are also ideal for hiking. Once at the top, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the islands in the sea and the coastal area. If you are there at the right time, you can enjoy a fantastic sunrise or sunset.

Stones out Splitska and the surrounding area are known worldwide. 

The bright sandstone buildings typical of the region look very picturesque. The palm trees and the proximity to the sea and water exude a Mediterranean flair and offer ideal conditions for a relaxing holiday.
Swimmers and water rats can make mistakes on one of the numerous picturesque beaches and spend a relaxing day by the sea. There are many fine sandy beaches on the island, where children can ideally build sandcastles and play. The coastline with its beautiful beaches extends over a length of almost ten kilometers.
